The Formula
Bundles = (Roof Area ÷ 33.3) × (1 + Waste%)
Squares = Roof Area ÷ 100
Material Cost = Squares × Cost per Square
Example Calculation
For a 1,700 sq ft roof with architectural shingles and 10% waste:
